Competition:  Windsurfing – Wave from 6 to 12 December and Kitesurfing – Freestyle from 9 to 15 December

The Cape Town Kite- and Windsurf World Cup is a 10 day event in Big Bay, Cape Town, Western Cape. The event will run from 6 to 15 December 2013.

The world’s best athletes in Kite- and Windsurfing will challenge each other and collect important points to become World Champion. The event is recognized by the PKRA (Professional Kiteboard Riders Association) and the PWA (Professional Windsurfers Association) and forms part of their World Cup Tour. With Cape Town being the last stop on the tour, we will crown the PWA Wave World Champion and the PKRA Freestyle World Champion!

In addition the event is supported by the National Kitesurfing Association (SAKA) and Windsurfing South Africa (WSA). 

The event offers a unique combination between action-loaded water sports, entertainment and environmental care.
